Glis-ki’s anatomy is so bad in this it’s hilarious.

For those of you who never read Glis-ki’s backstory, here’s a spoiler: Taykin doesn’t wake up.

After completing my horrendous self portrait for this unexpected drawing challenge, a thought struck me.

Can Glis-ki draw?

The obvious answer is: No one can make him.

But if the circumstance required it, say, identifying the appearance of a Space Pirate deserter, would he be any good at drawing?

I’d imagine that he could draw at least somewhat. That is, if he could hold a pencil. (He can’t, so you can disregard everything else in this post if you want.) After all, he is quite familiar with the anatomies of different species of Space Pirates. But I’m not talking about shaded masterpieces, just an outline with an accurate anatomy. But as for humans and other non Pirate species, the anatomy would probably be less accurate, and he might even forget important details like ears or a nose. Spaceships have a ton of detail that you can only see up close, to any attempt he would make to draw them would probably just be the basic shape.

But whatever the case is, according to Glis-ki, I need to get my priorities straight.

Currently contains a backstory for Glis-ki.

Simply because I’d rather have the blog have an official ending than sit and collect virtual dust and tears. I can’t help but believe that every question relating to the Metroid games has already been asked and answered.

The blog itself would not be deleted because some folks may still want to see the old questions.

I do not want this to turn into an RP blog. I believe that losing sight of the blog’s original purpose is worse than ending it.

I will not turn this into a “fuckyeahspacepirates” blog, because hardly any Space Pirate content get’s posted on Tumblr, and I do not want to spend my time crawling through deviantart like a hobo trying to find pictures of Space Pirates. I’d rather draw my own art.

Speaking of my own art, I will not be shutting down my sub-blog. But it would be lovely if I could find a way to turn it into a main blog.

Just because I don’t want “askaspacepirate” to be an RP blog dosen’t mean I don’t like RP’ing. I might make a single blog where I could RP as any of the characters I’ve made over the years. Including Glis-ki and his lovely crew.
